The Falkland Islands

In 2009 we briefly visited the Falklands Islands as part of a larger expedition cruise to South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula and only stopped on three of the islands for a couple of days in total. Ten years later in 2018-19 we managed to return this time staying on several of the islands overnight, using the local air network FIGAS to hop about in their tiny Islander planes. This blog is about the places we visited and the amazing wildlife we saw. More will be added soon!
